Thank you all again for your well wishes but paddys op has been delayed for a week

The specialist called me yesterday and said he has ordered a new drug that may help with clotting after the op. He said they have had issues with greyhounds in the past and her clotting figures are a little lower than they should be so he doesnt want to risk it.

I understand his reasoning and dont want to risk it either but i am so petrified that her leg will fracture in the meantime.

Its going to be a long week waiting again...

Oh dear. It's good that the vet is taking every precaution with Paddy, but yes it'll be a long week for you. ((((hugs)))).

Thank you. I'm going to spend this week finding out everything i can about how to make her comfy when she arrives home minus a leg
Need to do something to keep me occupied!!
