Willing to do as asked and eager to please.But like everyone else has said this only happens with hard work and putting in the time for training.Same as with Children.
I have to agree it is nice to have a dog that wishes to please and as they get older with the right training and input they do but it takes time and we all have the initial teething problems(excuse the pun). But also it is nice to have a cheeky character its what makes our dogs special to us and every now and then they need to kick their heels up and have a bit of fun.
