Murphy's Xray Results....Not so good

Poor Murphy has got arthritis in his elbow joint, vet wants him back next week for a check then back in a month for more xrays and if its worse on the xrays then the vets wants to operate, hes been cartildge supplements and Rimadryl (sp) and his walks has to be cut back and we have to try and ensure he doesn't do tomuch prancing around which is easier said that done with a boingy 1 yr old Rottie and we have to watch his weight as that will put pressure on the joint

I feel so bad for Smurfy Murphy he has been thru quite a bit for such a young dog, not as bad as others I know but it still makes me very upset

Luckily Murphy is insured as the vet bill for today alone was £400 - but at least Murphy is with us where we can care for him and we love him to bits and will do anything we can for him.
