not my dogs but 2 handsome wolves

Me and the family went out for the day yesterday and visited a chimp sanctuary they had 2 lovely looking wolves there which had been rescued from a flat in belfast. just thought you might like to see a pic of them!

Thank goodness they were rescued, are they defo wolves, they look a bit too doggie.

Thanks for the link, I'm not convinced though, its not illegal in Ireland to have Wolf Hybrids so maybe thats wot they are, never saw a wolf with a blue eye before.

Thanks for the link kristian. Not too far for me...might pay a visit

The white one is unlikely to be pure wolf. Firstly the coat colour looks to be recessive yellow which occurs in GSDs and Siberians. May occur sporadically in the wolf but would be very, very rare.

Also the blue eye, also another indication of Siberian blood on both sides of the pedigree. Again it is possible it could occur in a wolf but very rarely.

Edit: Also the pointed ears. Not a trait often seen in wolves, if at all, as it's disadvantageous.

They are lovely but don't look the wolfiest wolves I have ever seen but I like them a lot - I also like their stone house

Pod - I'm curious as to why a pointed ear is considered a disadvantage for a wolf??
