This is the industry you support.

You know their names..... You can report them to the police.

At no time as I have said I consider the destruction of a healthy greyhound as an option. I can assure you I don't!
I merely stated you had a choice whether or not to foster those dogs and you chose to take them on.

Are you able to take on every single one that faces destruction? The answer - no you can't, does that then mean you consider destruction of a healthy greyhound as an option - of course you don't.
Stop trying to twist everything I say. It's a bare faced cheek you say your not entirely suprised! As said all my dogs are at home with me as I type!

I believe a dog should be for life, not just for profit.

They get rid of their dogs because of their love for the breed? Lol.

So do you hold the same view for working dogs that are placed in retirement homes at the end of their working life!!

Are the owners of these dogs any less a lover of their breed , when they retire them and rehome.

"working dogs" is a very large group.

You want to narrow that down at all?

Yes, you and me both and mine are. Certainly never made any profit out of them as an owner, infact they cost me a fortune when racing.

Think you have misunderstood my post, I am not talking about racing owners who have re homed their dogs, I'm talking of the pet owners I've met who have taken a retired greyhound on, they do it for the love of the breed because it is becoming common knowledge what great pets they make.

I can only talk for our local prison dogs, at the prison where my sister works, they are all pets also, hence the officers have two or three dogs each.
I find it difficult to beleive that a dog that works with you day in day out is loyal to the last, is let go just because its retired...i couldnt do that!
