Anyone any ideas what this is please?

I spotted this on Cooper this morning, and before I possibly over panic and rush him to the vets (he had an inguinal hernia in that area when he was a pup), anyone any ideas what it is?

It's down by his man bits, the little black bit is sticking out of the skin and the lump is sort of a blue colour.
I thought it was a tick at first but it seems to wrong way around.

The doggy equivalent of a blackhead - looks like a blocked pore....

I would say a blackhead too. Nothing to panic about.

Looks like a sebaceous cyst, Arran has had them in the past and after the first time at the vet with him I just pop them myself. My wee sis is very jealous of Arran's cyst she loves popping them weirdo that she is . I'm glad I got it checked out though just in case it was something more.

Please don't try popping anything until you are 100% sure that is something that is meant to be popped.

I was told by someone that it was a sebaceous cyst but it wasn't until the vet confirmed it that I did pop it and she had shown me how to do it. I would never do something like that of my own back and I'm sorry if it came across like that.

Sorry, wasn't criticising, just trying to point out that nothing should be popped until it's been diagnosed poppable .

When it's something like shown in the photo and no one's sure what it is, it's not worth trying until it's been diagnosed.

Hope my post didn't cause any unintended offence

There is a definite area of skin around that spot that looks decidedly blue.

Are you due for a routine visit to the vet, because they could check it out then.
