I already have the frisbees and I was waiting until they put their balls on a rope, and now I have one, fantastic, it floats, and is light, great toy (well my dog thinks so)
I couldnt tell in the photo, when you say foam are they the same as the foamish balls you get in PAH like this?

Nothing like, they are a VERY high quality foam like nothing else on the market. You really have to feel them to appreciate them (same with all balls IME)

Think I will order one for Loui, he only bites once on a ball and its wrecked but isnt a fan of solid rubber ones (neither am I, too heavy!) and likes them to flex....plus soft for at home too.....take it they rinse/wash out well? (if the covering bursts?)

Edit - the PAH ones are not that great, they last longer but dont float and are a bit minging after one , plus a bit small - just incase anyone took that link as a recomendation!

There is no covering, it is solid foam (i know that sounds like an oxymoron) and is totally washable

yes it does a bit... do they take forever to dry out? (since they are solid foam?)

Must be like industrual foam that they fill walls with?

No, they do not get soaked with water, you do not have to dry them out.

the wastage that goes on balls.....worth a go! blame you if they are rubbish (only joking)

so far, rope is good for tugging but not for throwing as the rope-ball part gets muddy beyond....or cut to pieces

The other ones I showed you get waterlogged (since he punctures them in one go)

The kong ones cost a fortune to replace and even then the material gets manky/soaking

Solid heavy rubber does not float and holds no interest

Only one that did had grooves which were constantly dripping slavers and mud and grit.....

so it is surely worth a go for the fact that it can flex, be rinsed off and wont cruble after one go in the pond

Never mind the Sch folk, if it passes my test you know it is good! lol

I wasted a lot of money on balls on a rope in the past because I kept getting them stuck up trees! Cherry would look at the ball dangling 50 feet in the air on a branch and then look at me like she expected me to get it for her!

I have one fond memory of a Mother's day outing on the park with Jamie moving my Mum off the bench and then dragging the bench near the tree where the ball had got stuck and trying to get it (unsuccesfully).
