It is really helpful to know where you have been and if things are getting better.. I started by making a notebook but it got a bit messy and confusing so now I have a big excel sheet!

Just to show (and as a little brag on behalf of Kestral) I discovered a trend line on excel which shows your progress in a chart - her trend line is going down - and pretty fast
She hasn't barked now in 7 days/11 outings (which coincides with when her DAP collar went on but I don't know whether its related)..

Chart showing barking intensity by walk number and by date:

Not sure if it will make sense to anyone but there it is!!!
thats a great idea, though think i will be sticking to my notebook just now

Well done Millie, great to hear she is building her confidence up

Great stuff Xeva Brilliant to hear that she managed to ignore the majority of dogs, great progress

And yay Ted! Tons of good stuff there, lots to celebrate! You should be really proud of him.

Had a brilliant socialisation class today A new dog started, a GSD x Rottie, gorgeous big young dog. Cain was dying to play with it, running laps, play bowing. The dog wasn't so keen but Cain did try

He got involved in a number of "disputes" and I was a bit surprised. But the trainers explained his body language to me, like that he was barking in a bow type position and that fact that his weight was back meant that he didn't mean it aggressively. Infect he was trying to diffuse the situation, and a couple of times he even succeeded! He ran in once or twice to back up the teaching dogs!!!! they were really pleased with him and said that they are still convinced that he'll make a good teaching dog, he's just too immature at the moment. But he really showed a lot of self restraint today and managed to handle some confrontational situations without tipping over the edge he's a good boy really

ETA: I forgot to mention that Cain did a perfect alley recall through 8 dogs

We went on a tree identification walk today with about 20 people and a couple of them made a fuss of Izzy and she wasn't nervous of them.
