Best of Breed for us too at Beckenham CA

Took both Angus and Max to Beckenham show today @ Maidstone.

Angus got 1st in Junior
Max got 2nd in post grad

Only a repeat entry previously beaten in post grad in Open so it was Angus and the Post Grad winner up for BOB.

I had my OH on standby with Max ready for the RBOB challenge as I really thought the Post Grad would get it - was even thinking wonder who she will give the RBOB out of Max or Angus - but Angus got it! So chuffed.

We even got a trophy to bring home!

Was intending to stay for BIS (not on the group system) but one of my girls wasn't feeling too well so we had to leave earlier than hoped.

Proud of both my boys who really gave their usual enthusiasm in the ring - they so enjoy the outdoor rings!

Well done!
We had our first show on grass yesterday, Deccy spent most of the time nose on ground justifying our move to the Hound Group in June.....

Thanks!

Oh Deccy! that can be the trouble with grass!

There are a few champ shows where the rings are where sheep and cattle have been which can lead to nose to ground syndrome!

Today we were in a carpark so aside from pigeons as an added distraction no lovely smells on the ground!
