Penalty Charge in Brighton Update

Well some may remember the post of me going into Brighton and getting a parking ticket, after speaking with an attendent.

I disputed it and wrote a letter, and this morning got a reply saying " the case has been referred to a council officer - who will decide"

From that, I think that they will waiver the charge, but will await definate confirmation.

I am off to start a thread on car parking charges, so take a look!!

Good luck - they don't seem to care about justice or fairness as we have just found out and don't even give a reasonable explanation for their decisions. You can go to Which which have a legal advice section for a small fee. We are thinking about this.

lol-dont bank on it! All thats happened now is that its been referred to someone higher up the ladder cause you disputed the ticket-this is quite normal!

Good luck!
