Ross Castle, for those who know Kerry

Yesterday while pootling around while wee dog was in the vets I meandered ( in the car) down to Ross castle.. all the car parks etc are totally flooded; new lakes everywhere and the same on the road down to it. It is by a lake of course which has been enlarged by the excessive rain.

You can still get to the castle but it was too long a walk for me sadly...

Has been like this for weeks now.

Poor Ross Castle. It's a beautiful place. I hope it all dries out soon before the tourist season starts. These floods are going to hit it a lot. Has it affected the deer in the park?

The deer are fine thankfully. On higher ground. These are good people who run the National Park

Saw them yesterday...
