Lovely pics thanks for posting them! You have nearly as many birds as paradise park maybe next time I'll go to your house instead but can u put on a show using the birds u have trained to educate me, if you can you could open up to the public and start charging!

They are all beautiful although have to say I particually love the macaws and cooky! :smt007

Jackie, your birds are beautiful.

I am involved with Boxer Rescue and a few years ago we were asked to rehome two Boxer puppies, when we went to collect them the woman said, " I don't suppose you want to take those as well do you?" She pointed to an African Grey male and a Blue Fronted Amazon, both with lovely big cages. She then proceeded to say if we didn't want to take them she was going to give them to anyone who wanted them. To keep them safe we took them and rehomed the Grey with a friend of ours who had just lost a Conure and the Amamzon with another friend who kept Cockatiels. The Grey is the bird from Hell!!, it only likes my friend and hates anyone else. I hope she outlives the bird as I don't know who would want the critter!!!
The Amazon on the other hand is just so friendly, he loves everyone. Unfortunately my friends circumstances changed and he has been unable to keep Jasper. We asked Parrot rescue (who we know) if she had anyone who could take him and give him a home and she was really shirty with us, saying we shouldn't have taken him in in the first place. We have since rehomed him to a lovely family who are experienced with parrots and he is getting on great - they just have one minor problem - he swears like a trooper. If they don't swear and he stops hearing bad language is he likely to stop doing it? I know that they only mimic and that he doesn't actually know what he is saying, I don't know what advice to give them. Hope you like the picture. I didn't actually post for advice but to admire your birds - it is just that I tend to waffle on a bit!!!!
