Ruby, Staffie, DOB Dec 08

Ruby, Staffie, DOB Dec 08

Homing Requirements: Ruby needs a family who can offer her companionship i.e. rarely left as an only dog or to trial adopt in with one other dog not necessarily a Staffie. Ruby needs a garden and low dog density walks to enjoy.

Her Story: Ruby was hand reared by her owner as a sick 6 week old pup who survived Parvo. She has grown up with 2 older Staffies both then over 10 years as her pack. She is full of life and they have tolerated her energy well which is just beginning to settle now as she is in her 3rd year. However there have been 2 "tussles" within the pack, which hasn't caused any damage but her owner is concerned and the pack energy need to be carefully managed to avoid any ructions. Spayed and will need vaccination.

Advert: Ruby Tuesday came to her owner on a Tuesday. She has always been an affectionate and loving dog. She adores her pack members Rosie and Clay, both are rescue Staffies. Her owners have always managed her energy to make sure she doesn't upset the pack. She announces herself on return from a run over the park and this can cause concern but witnessing this, it was over in a moment. Ruby has been around the grandchildren; babies upwards with no problems but hasn't lived with children. Ruby is off lead and meets dogs well. Pulls on the lead with keenness but once she has had a run, is easily managed on a short lead.

Ruby is a White and Brindle small Staffie having been the runt of her litter. She has only ever known her current family. She doesn't have issues around food but bones are fed separately within the pack as a precaution. She travels well but is rarely in a car. She seldom gets walks but has a 200 ft garden which she runs around in during the day. Ruby will need companionship when she leaves her pack to be come an only dog so a home-worker or maker would suit.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.
