And you from Yorkshire.

This is how you explain Cricket to a foreigner.

"You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.each man thats in the side thats in goes out,and when hes out he comes in and the next man goes in untill he out. When they are all out the the side thats out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get thoses coming in ,out

When a man goes out to go in the men who are out to try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.

Thers are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and decide when the men who are in are out.

When bothsides have been in and all the men out and both sides have been out twice, after all the men have been in, including thoses who are not out, thats the end of the game."

Hope that helps

Oh Kazz - you've gone all technicolour dear. Best go and lie down too.
Still haven't got my breath, still got a silly grin on my face.
And to people who ask 'what do you see in cricket?' - name another sport you can play for 4 or 5 days and the result is still hanging in the balance like that??
Fantastic!
