Zylkene question

How long would zylkene 450mg take to 'kick in' if they were going to work? Just after an approx time.

Joe, 25kg, has been on 1 a day for over a week now, no improvement outdoors. He was given this rather than the S+V as it tends to work quicker and for his size he'd need 6 S+V tablets a day which would cost a fortune and we aren't in during the day to give them.

Thanks

I'm told that it helps some dogs, but not others....

What are you giving him it for?

When I gave Lana Zylkene I noticed a difference after about a week. It will depend on the dog and what it's for.

Have you tried the DAP stuff? Meant to be effective.

They do collars, diffusers etc. I'm trying that this year for Roxy for fireworks. Will be starting it this week hopefully if my order arrives on time.

He's on it for his outdoor behaviour mainly. We don't think he's ever been socialized and is scared of dogs which shows itself as aggression.

He gets very stressed on walks and makes horrendous noises like we're trying to kill him which only makes the dog thing worse as his noise attracts dogs! Typical!

I've thought about D.A.P collars but would it work for aggression?

Well, in that case it would be a combination of both ongoing training and the aid of the DAP collar/diffuser/spray. It's meant to help them feel a sense of calm. Heck, maybe I should try it on myself if that's the case!
