I'm told by others who have got there, when you get near your goal it's all down to exercise to tone the muscles. At the size I was when I started toning isn't even going to be the biggest problem it will be loose skin. Already I am seeing it but I think loose skin versus feeling as ill as I did it's a fair swap and a reminder of what was.

I wish I could say that my belly [now fashionably called a "mummy tummy" ???] was just loose skin but it is the result of not having any muscles in that area - plus the fact that I am sitting all the time. And, to be honest, old age has a large part to do with it.

If I could stay at 50kg that would be ideal, but it just goes back to 54 or 55 and I was so disappointed to see my weight had crept back up to 56.5 again. All that strict dieting to get to 50 and blink and it is up again. Not over-weight by any means, just fat in the wrong places.

Got a bit stuck for a couple of weeks no loss then got on the scales this morning and 4lb loss this week. Seems the worrying diet has kick started me again. Don't recommend that one though !

Well done on the 4lb loss Julie! I still cannot get back to 50kg - usually bouncing between 54 and 55 although I am down to 53.5 this morning so I guess that is a slight improvement but it is so disheartening at times. Especially when looking for a nice tunic top and the only ones that would fit are maternity smocks

Well got on the scales this morning and had a surprise, been on holiday where I was anything but good but still lost 3lb in the past 2 weeks.
