Screen Not Clear

My screen seems to have developed a shadow. I thought it was my eyes deceiving me at first, but someone else has used my computer and commented on the shadowing on the screen. Pictures seem fuzzy and type written letters seem to have a shadow. Does anyone know of an adjustment that can be made to put it right.

short answer is 'no'. Your local repair shop may be able to offer a fix - but I would not hold my breath
