We were looking for a puppy and Karen phoned me in work to say she had brought a puppy home from her friend on the understanding that if I didn't like it (over the weekend) it was OK to take it back on Monday.

Skye - although he was called 'Two Spot' within his litter mates

Goes without saying that he never went back but you know how these things work. Of course we can keep him.....

.......Because look what I've got LOL

We had been putting off getting a dog for over a year as our careers and working hours weren't very pup-friendly, but when I was unexpectedly made redundant at the end of the summer we jumped at the chance to finally add a pup to our fold, as I would have the time at home needed to settle and train the little one without too much pressure about returning to work.
We did things a little hastily and approached a breeder we knew had a current litter as opposed to a planned/expectant one, partly because we were so excited about getting a dog back into our lives, but admittedly a little because I was scared I would get a call from a head hunter and end up taking on a new role and so having no pup
I saw this photo and fell in love with her immediately. I loved how smart and proud she looked, but I was convinced she would have been snapped up before we could make the journey south to meet the pups and mum. I knew I shouldn't make a decision on looks alone, but thankfully when we met I really did think she was the pick of the remaining 3 pups and we were over the moon.

Cora, on the left, aged 10 weeks.

Brilliant thread here, Azz

Love every single puppy here, it is great to see them all when they were all puppies.

Here are a couple of Loki's puppy pics - taken not long after I got her

Awww, gorgeous puppy pictures. Can you imagine having them all together in a room and being told you could only pick one? I couldn't do it!
