Is Collagen a real name?

The girl who had been drinking has been chucked off X factor, but surely nobody named their daughter after an animal protein???????????/

I'd believe anything when it comes to the naming stupidity of some people - having recently encountered a BJ (full name - not just his initials, there's a bit of a fad for just initial names - CJ TJ etc locally of late) and a Kain-Obi (as in Obi Wan Kenobi) recently.

My mum teaches a kid called DJ. DJ being his actual name and not his initials or a nickname.

And I thought names couldn't get any worse.

actually doesn't annoy me as much as old names that have been hipped up by giving them ridiculous spelling... that makes no sense..

came across Nevhiaha the other day and they put beside it : Pronounced Neve ??wtf??

I think my most hated of names are the names given to the sort of children who get sent to posh prep schools and wear straw hats

Cordelia for example is disgusting.

WHY would anyone do this to their child? The initials of my first name and middle name are BJ, and I was never allowed to forget it at school. Couple it with my maiden surname and it sounded like a street in a red light district (and to think my father wondered why I kept my ex. husband's surname after our divorce). People really need to think more about what they call children.
