Asda, Morrisons Iceland and Aldi's they are all very local and handy to us.

Meat though is mainly from the market in town as I can stock a good 2 freezers for half the cost than supermarkets can do.

Dad tends to do the shopping, if you can count 10 packets of biscuits, several cream cakes, galaxy choc bars, a loaf of bread and some milk as shopping...Then, when Mum gets totally fed up of having zero to eat and there not being a single item of healthy food left, she persuades me to take her to Morrisons. Dont ask me why both parents dont shop together...That would be too simple obviously.

I prefer Morrisons myself as they have their own range which I can never find the equivalent of in other supermarkets, and I think their veg and fresh meat sections are far superior to Asda or Tesco. I venture into Tesco regularly for the odd thing but never use Asda or Sainsbury's. You are very lucky to find a M&S or Waitrose round these parts, be pointless as it's not exactly an affluent area!

We shop at Asda for the big weekly shop and then just nip into the corner shop if we run out of the basics like bread or milk. It doesn't really matter what is nearest to us as we get our food delivered so we just go with whatever is cheapest!

General stuff = Tesco
Meat = local farm shop
Fruit and veg = M&S (there is no better, IMO)

The majority of our shopping is done at Tesco as we only have tesco and morrisons in town.

I do prefer the meat in morrisons but the layout of the store drives me up the wall and they always let me down on at least one item on my list so I end up having to go to tesco as well.

At the weekends we usually treat ourselves to nice meat or fish from a butcher or fishmonger and then go to the farm shop for veg.

I'd like to use the butcher and farm shop more but I find their hours don't suit my shopping schedule and I don't do one big shop a week so never get time to go hence why we only buy decent butcher meat on a Saturday.

I pop into Tesco on the way home from work, Sainsburys if I am visiting my cousin. OH does the majority of the shopping, he uses Lidl, I have the luxury fruit and nut muesli from Lidl (has even won awards) it's very reasonably priced, tried the much more expensive Tesco version as a stop gap, it was rubbish by comparison.
