Good for Bella, she has an independent nature and you don't get away with going where you want do you, she goes where SHE wants and you follow on, meekly

I guess all that culture is hot work and Bella needed a dip to cool things down

The little minx finds these places where she can zoom down to the lower shore, leaving me above walking on the level and we continue to walk separately until I get to a bit where I can get down (or she can get back up). But it's lovely at the lake because it's the only place she will ever just go wandering off a way from me. She's usually not far out of arms' reach.
