Would you eat your dogs food?

...or have you?

I do because she eats human food, although I would not eat her meat/poultry raw as I prefer mine cooked!

But I have tasted the emergency rations kibble she occasionally has...

I did years ago when working in kennels. The dogs had some lovely food including fresh fish while we kennel maids starved on mainly marrow and potatoes

I gave the green paunches and sheeps heads a miss
but became quite partial to Laughing Dog wholewheat bars .

My friends say our dogs eat better than we do...they might be right! While I wouldn't eat it raw of course, their diet rotates around turkey, chicken, pork, beef, lamb, venison, rabbit, pheasant, duck, salmon and other oily fish, and a great variety of seasonal veg too.

We're not big meat eaters ourselves, but so long as we're not talking tripe, trachea or Cora's boney favourites of pork spine, etc, then I'm pretty sure just about everything else they eat would be delectable to most meat lovers. I know for sure one friend in particular has been envious of a rack of ribs I had set out for Cora's dinner, as he was going home to cheese on toast and a cup of soup!

OMG I initially read that heading as would you eat your dog I thought it was one of Azz's controversial posts again ... in which case the answer would have been NO.

I would not eat their kibble ... Origen 6 fish whole prey. However I would and do eat the veggies and fresh fish I cook for them.

Some of your dogs eat better than me

As much as I loved Rocky, he'd only get salmon if it was a bit, off (I'm sure his higher stomach acid could deal with it tho lol).

Jenny, I am sure that was posted recently.. let me find the thread... here ya go! Could you eat your dog?

I've tried some of their dry food before
Lily's Kitchen lamb stuff... not good!

I dont think I'd try the wet stuff though - even though the grain free wainwrights smells quite nice!

As mine eat home cooked food I'd probably eat their food if I had to although I don't like heart or tripe. I'll sometimes cook a chicken or duck or a meat roast and what I don't eat I give to the girls.
