Thanks again all. Rips, he was certainly that,there was always a story with the Biffters...he was one of those dogs you know...not the easiest dog in the world (the stubborness and determination of a terrier with the obsessiveness of a collie)but everyone that met him loved him to bits, there was just something about him.

Life will be very weird for a long time to come without the Biffters being part of it

To lose one of our faithful friends is so heart breaking and those of us who have gone through this understand and those that haven't are dog lovers so they almost understand.

I hope things get easier as time goes on but I agree a loss like this doesn't disappear quickly. Hugs, Joan
