a sad farewell to my fleecy friend

you sat on my door step waiting for a wash
but out with the rubbish, you got tossed
stupid hubby threw you away
no more to see another day
in the skip, i hunted for you
i waded through crap and gunk and goo
i hunted through bin bags filled with muck
no sign of you, you had been took
i climbed out of the skip and i did smell
not only that,i looked like hell
my expensive dog fleece, you are gone
amongst all other blankets you shone
the money you cost, you were well worth
warm and snuggly when freya gave birth
another fleece stupid hubby must buy
for your now in that blanket heaven in the sky

TEEHEEHEE! Sutty that was a fantastic little poem, im well impressed. Poor lil blanket i hope it has gone to a happier place than the skip where it can frolic and play with all the other abandoned blankies!
