Very handsome. There is one of these near me and he is lovely, very graceful dogs.

it was more that he needed a home, and i could give it him. i dont know why, i saw his picture and there was something about him, i went to see him yesterday afternoon and he is just delightful, hes got a real spark and something just clicked between us.

You will look quite the sight walking a Pointer, CC's and a pap!

He has quite a bit of black on him which I think looks far better. I prefer my continental pointers, never actually seen an English work but i'd rather like to.

oh im already waiting for the comments i have told nana though that she's going to have to start walking her own dog a bit more, because im going to have to put alot of individual work with archie. im going to train him to recall to the whistle i think, make things a bit easier. and i would like to do some gundog work with him, but his basic training is going to be enough for now!

yes he does have a fair bit of black on him, here's a couple more of him that show his colour.

What kind of gundog work are you going to do? I thought English Pointers were strictly pointers and didn't to the hunting or retrieving side of things (correct me if I'm wrong!).

Like Leanne I've not seen them working. I guess HPR's are heavily favoured now.

Not sure what I want to do with him yet, its just an idea, because like I said he needs ALOT of basic training first, seeing as how he isn't even used to a lead!
