Had to pick up a delivery from our local Asda garage and as it was reasonable took Rosie along and combined it with a trip to McD's. Halfway there the heavens opened and a big flash and bang. It was directly overhead. Apparently it struck one of the rides at Fantasy Island. It chucked it down for about 10 minutes. Half an hour after that it was almost as hot as yesterday. Fortunately, we were on our way home with all the windows down but the house is very, very warm AGAIN!

So sick of this heat. Fortunately, it's supposed to break tonight
