Which collar for a lab with sensitive skin ?

Hi everyone,

We've had our black lab Rocky for around 6 months now (he's 5) and he has been on a diet as he was pretty tubby when he first came to us. He has slimmed down so much that his old collar (a half choker) looks too loose, and the metal part dangles almost to the ground when he's sniffing around.

I'm wondering what type of collar to get to replace his old one - something that won't irritate his skin as he has an allergy of some sort (prob. pollen or dust mites). He has loads of loose skin around his neck (I think he used to be proper fat when he was younger!)

Any advice gratefully received !

I don't know if this is the sort of thing that would suit him. I have bought my black lab, who is a bit skin sensitive a fleece collar. I have only just got it so I can't recommend it yet, but it feels nice and comfy. Also I take his collar off when we are in the house.
