When I was small I wanted to be a nurse, then as I grew up I didn't want to hurt people so thought about becoming a pathologist (theory being you can't hurt them if they are already dead ) but sadly my grades were quite good enough.
So I changed my mind slightly to funeral directing, in the end I went to work in life insurance but got fed up with that and now I work for a funerla directors & as odd as it sounds to people (my mum included) I love my job.

Jobs I have wanted (in age order, youngest first)

1. Ballet dancer (with a green tutu)
2. Gardener (do this as a hobby now)
3. Brain surgeon
4. Teacher (tried this and hated it)

I'm a Director's PA and really enjoy my job.... just shows how unexpected things work out!

I wanted to work with horses a Riding instructor or in the show ring. When I worked at the stables across the road I was given the oppurtunity to look after and ride their cross country hunter for them and when out riding one day we were going under a bridge and some boys in a car behind tooted their horn spooked the horse all 16 hands 2 of him and he run away with me on him and we had an accident and I lost my nerve totally.Only been on a horse once since then and never have again.
So worked in a Stockbrokers instead and many other jobs since then.

I wanted to be an Airline Pilot although at the time I didn't realise you had to be quite clever for that.
