Burnham Beeches Bucks
This walk covers 540 acres..so there's plenty to explore.There are 2 lakes with Ducks & Fish (no Dogs allowed in) & Deer, Cattle, Sheep & Ponies in that area.
It is now closed to traffic (Except disabled access) so in wet weather you can walk on the roads without getting run over.
I don't go near the lakes with my 2 (the temptation to jump in would be overwhelming) So I walk in the wooded area.
My Dogs walk here everyday, sometimes we don't see a soul & other times there are loads of people there.
There is a stream to play in & loads of fallen trees to jump over...they love it.
I do tend to avoid the main paths on Weekends & Bank holidays & go on the tracks & trails.
Parking is by donation & there is a really good Cafe on site.
