Polo PTS tonight

My beautiful Polo was PTS tonight.
He was diagnosed with a brain tumour last August and has been on increasing doses of phenolbarbitone but recently this was not having sufficient effect. Tonight, he launched an unprovoked and vicious attack on Deccy, blood everywhere, I couldn't stop them for ages. Within 5 minutes he was a soppy loving boy again. This was the third attack and by far the worst, the vet said it would only get worse so the decision was taken.
He went peacefully in my arms and will be buried tomorrow next to Polly.

Oh Gill, I'm crying too for you, what an awful thing for you to have had to experience. He is at peace now and won't suffer any more, I do hope Deccy is ok too.

My thoughts are with you.

Deccy is puzzled. He was also very shaken after the attack but seems to have recovered a bit. The vet checked him out and everything will heal.
