My new additions... Yet to be named and very hard to take pictures of as they wouldn't keep still!

Will get some better pictures when I have settled them in!

They are very comical creatures but i'm very wary of their teeth! Hence i've never handled one properly.

Oh you are in for so much fun!

Ferrets are LOVELY but beware they are not the cheapest pet on earth. They need neutering/spaying as soon as practicable (if not already done) and annual vaccs.

Plus they tend to get various cancers and glandular issues when older. My sister has had rescued ferrets for many years - at one point she had 14, but is now down to 3 oldies, and they aren't all that old in real terms. It's so sad to see her lovely ferties get old & frail at just 6 or 7 years, and needing to be on permanent medication for various issues. If they need steroids then they fail to moult and end up looking like half-bald rats

In the meantime, you will never laugh as much in your life when they come indoors for their fun time every night - they are such comical bendy things which actually seem to laugh, and entertain you with real slapstick humour. They are just like kittens which never grow up!

Wow!
I always wanted some but my parents wouldn't let me, then I got the rabbits and decided it wouldn't be fair on them.
I love watching them play, they move so quickly!

When my ex had his, they stunk awful, the whole garden reeked, not quite sure i'd like that aspect of owning them!

Yeah, ferrets and rabbits arent a good mix Katie!

They don't really smell at all, I'm cleaning the hutch out 2/3 times a day, we have a chicken coop arriving in Tuesday so I shall be litter training them to make cleaning out even easier. I also have a 60ft garden so if they do stink as they get older they will be moved further away from the house! Lol.

Oh they are adorable I had 2 ferrets named Ally and Walter, they were the most comical things ever, but I do agree on the smell bit . Ally sadly passed away and I rehomed Walter as I didn't think it was fair to have one ferret on his own, and he went to a rescue that had loads of friends for him, was very happy there the last I heard
