Bad Back

Started a few weeks ago and it has been really painful,a nerve was going into spasm and the pain was horrendous,it's not as bad now but not right and I have been coping during the day but at night it is waking me every time I move I get pain especially when I move my arms.

I haven't been to the doctors yet,as I don't think there is much they will be able to do but the not sleeping properly at night is starting to really get to me.I love my sleep
As a rule I never wake during the night unless one of my kids are ill or the dogs bark.

you should go to an OH specialist, physio, chiropracter or osteopath as soon as possible.

IT can save you a lot of pain in the future.

I go to my chiro every month, he keeps everything working.

I'd definitely try a chiro. When I had sciatica due to a slipped disc my GP told me to go to a chiro as apart from giving me painkillers and diazepam as a relaxant there was nothing else he could do for me.

Go to the doctors, they'll send you for an X-ray.

I've had a bad back for many years now, my muscles go in to spasm to protect my spine, it's mega painful, I do take pain killers four times a day, they do take the edge of the pain but that's about it.....

I did have physio in my younger days but that just made it worse.

Please visit your doctor a.s.a.p

Hope you're feeling better soon xx

Can sympathise, the pain in my knee keeps me awake at night, every night. Its relentless. I can't take painkillers or anti inflammatories

You should see your GP tho if you haven't already. There are lots of different things they can try nowdays.

Back pain is horrible n would go with the advice given, especially as isn't improving n the pain you're in(reflexology can sometimes help too). Hope you get something sorted soon to help n find out what's going on.
Best wishes
H.
