Morning brenda, griff, Kazz and all to follow.
What a horrible night it was and morning it is. Not as bad as Scotland though and not homeless so I shall think myself lucky.

Hopefully having a phone chat today with a Bernese cyber friend who has been through similar to what we are going through with Brewster, although I am wondering if her puppies condition is something different. It never hurts to chat though.
The young lady at the vets rang at 7pm last night to apologise for the referral problem, still not sure who is in the wrong but she is saying it is the referral vet and that another client rang for the same practice as she hadn't had her referral and the referral vet was saying only opinion was requested again.
Fingers crossed we will get an appointment very soon at one of 3 choices.

Our friends are off to the big hospital in Hull today for his MRI to see if he is viable for the op hopefully next week.
His wife was saying yesterday he has lost the use of his right arm and hand and his speech has now slurred he is declining rapidly.

brenda no frolocking here too wet and windy.
griff I hope you can get someone to help with the lack of sleep and the headache.
Kazz enjoy the sofa later.
Sue I hope the school journey has been reasonable today.
Chris did you have breakfast out or decided to stay in the warm and dry ?

Thank you Kazz. I am sure there will be something I can take from it.
Every little bit of information helps related or not.

More to take to the consultation. I am sure vets and specialists become fed up with me when I come back with well researching this and speaking to other Bernese owners I have found that.

I think for us Bernese owners and we all say the same they are a very different breed to any other dog and we have learnt so much from previous Bernese we have owned and the sharing amongst the community.

The trouble is they look like a robust dog but as so many of these large and extra large breeds they are in fact quite a fragile breed especially while growing.

Good morning everyone

Hope you have a good day Brenda

Kelly I hope you can get some help with sleep and the headaches

Enjoy the sofa Kazz

:Lynn do hope you get some answers from your chat with the other owner. May not be quite the same but may give you an answer. Vets hate owners telling them what the problem is. My old vet had on record that I would argue with them, well I know my dogs and the last time they didn't listen I ended up with a huge out of hours bill which could have been sorted a couple of days before. My first vet in the Midlands was good. Went in and told him I thought my Afghan had laryngeal paralysis and he said "well you know the breed so off to the referral hospital". I was right

Dull and damp here but at least it is not raining. Teazle walked, ironing done and the rest of the housework. Barry. has just got up in time for lunch On duty this afternoon.

Take care everyone.

Well, I should have put frustrating not frolicking as I have just had a frustrating time trying to get the banks website to work. Fortunately a very nice man waited on the phone while I tried to do it on my tablet and hey presto it worked. So, Kelly you are not the only one that was awake most of the night. No idea why. Next time I will email you when I am awake. But that would mean going onto pc as tablet doesn't like my emails. Such fun.!! Forgot to say Butter Chicken with Pilau Rice for lunch. It's a ping din.

Done my bit for the day at least,I replaced a yellow ink cartridge in the printer. I do try and keep a couple of spares for each of the 6 colours the printer uses.
After all that hard exercise now time to put the feet up and have a rest.

While doing so I was watching Sue at work. Her left hand was doing the dishes-her right hand was doing the ironing- her left foot was cleaning the floor.
You may be thinking what was her right foot doing? Well I can tell you it just stood there looking amazed
.
