Im sorry to hear you lost one Jackie

We've been quite lucky with ours to only have lost the one. These new ones are in a lot worse conditions than the last ones, but i guess if we do lose them its nicer that they can die having had some freedom than in the tiny cramped cages

Sorry you lost one! They go quickly when they do go! I used to have chickens and will be able to keep some again soon! I know now I will be able to keep the house!
I am going to get some when the bird flu scare is over!

PS. They look wonderful, the eggs are great arent they. Soooo different from shop ones!

Ooh, sorry, i hadn't noticed there were replies on this thread

Lisa is the person we got the first chickens from and she was really nice and helpful to us people who knew nothing about chickens The second lot came directly from a battery farm who was selling as many off as they could before they had to have them killed..
