If the dog has only been there a day I think it`s a bit early to start worrying about stress symptoms.
I would let the dog settle first.

Oh i didn't realise you had only had her a day, as C & D says it takes a few weeks for them to settle, i hope it works out

OH no, I do realise that! I just wanted some advice to help her settle a bit quicker, and to not be so stressed when we leave her - which in fairness we do have to do occasionally
