Baby Blackbird

Seems like there are two of us with bird problems Random!

Behind my wheelie bins I spotted a baby Blackbird sitting on the bottom of the fence panels. It is awfully young, I have kept an eye out and seen it getting fed twice in the past hour by a parent bird, but am worried that the bird might get scared off as I have no option but to go out of this door to let Marius relieve himself on our grass(on-lead).

The adult male is regularly coming back to feed it, but am worried about nightfall as a cat or any predator could easily get to it behind there with no shelter. Do I just leave it to chance or would you put some plastic gloves on (so as not to leave human scent) and move it behind the shrubs in the garden so it has more shelter for the evening? Am stuck what to do, I'd never forgive myself if it got killed during the night

Here it is...

You need to leave it alone, don't touch.

Thats how I ended with mine, because a neighbour 'rescued' it from a bush by a road. Far better to leave alone unless in immediate danger.... and even then, sometimes its natures course.

Have posted pics of mine btw in dog pic thread.
