Opinion/reviews of Adaptil products please?

Hi,
I have been thinking about whether to buy either the collar or diffuser except they are quite expensive, so I am just wondering whether they are worth paying that little extra if they help.

Has anyone tried or heard about them?

Thanks in advance

We tried those collars with a noise activated battery spray container to stop dogs barking and quickly chucked them out. Long haired dogs don't get the spray up the nose and even with short coated dogs the collar did not stay put. Nice money for the manufacture no good for the end user

Hi there!
I wish I'd seen this post earlier! Adaptil worked wonders for my previous dog who was fearful of other dogs. I bought some bandanas ( ( neckerchiefs) and sprayed with about 4 squirts of Adaptil 15 minutes before putting it on him when he needed it. It's good for 4 hours apparently. Better than a collar which can't of course be turned off, and much cheaper! I hope you've since found a solution though. A bit late for "Good Luck" but worth knowing anyway!

Pet Remedy is half price of Adaptil and just as good. I've used the plug in Adaptil and Pet Remedy in the home and found it useful. I've used it for when the dogs returned from boarding kennels or days away at dog shows as they would be over aroused.
