One Sleep To Go!

We're off to meet a lovely bundle of brindle tomorrow with a view to adopting him I'm so excited and we've been doing all the necessary shopping so that we're ready should everything go okay

The new crate arrived yesterday, and we had great fun putting it up. Ella didn't know what on earth to make of it, as she wasn't crate trained, and she was convinced it was some kind of dog-eating monster! Then the bed went in and she suddenly realised it was safe, so barged in for a good sniff around.

And then my OH couldn't resist having a go...

So, Ella thought she had better keep him company!

It wasn't until afterwards that the idea of shutting him in even occurred to me - I was too busy laughing and trying to keep my phone still enough to take the picture! I was quite amazed to see him get in through the little door though He's fairly tall and broad with it, so it was like watching a clown get into a tiny car!

I am counting down the hours, and have told my OH that we have to get up at the crack of dawn so we can get on the road. It's a two and a half hour drive, and I think me and his foster mum will probably get into natter mode when we get there!
