Couldn't finish reading this to the OH and am still sat here tears rolling down my face. I have no words to express how I feel for that poor lad. I do, however, have a lot to say about that b*****d that I pray is still walking the 6 miles home but he's not worth the effort!

I'm so proud of the people who work as you do in rescue and can only imagine the pain you went through dealing with this horrific situation. You deserve a medal for your work.

I'm off to cuddle Cassie now and show her how much we love her

it doesn't surprise me he was still wagging his tail..boxers are like that.
thankyou for being there for him and giving him peace in the end.
i wouldn't want to see a dog in such a state to be honest it would haunt me.

Even without seeing him, the thought of this has haunted me since I first read it. I cannot express how deeply saddened it made me feel to think that this poor boy went through all that agony and his owners just let him.

There isn't a single excuse in the world for neglect and cruelty of that magnitute, I hope their turn will come for payback soon. Pure Evil

What can I say, its just soo sad this dog had to suffer. I hope the owners suffer as much as the poor dog did sometime in the future.

Im appalled that the owner neglected the dog so badly and disgusted with the RSPCA.

I have never liked the RSPCA because of various policys they have and lost total faith in them when i noticed something on their website under 'situations vacant' a while back.At the time, they needed a manager at one of their depots and was disgusted with the final salary pension which was offered with the position. The RSPCA is a charity for heavens sake and peoples donations should not be used to fund someone lifestyle when they retire!!!
