Meg (BC)

Just been away for for two nights and we stayed in our caravan on a farm. The farmer had two working collies for hearding his sheep and cows.

I felt so awful for Meg, shes got arthritis and a large cancerous tumour hanging betweeh her back legs, but she still jumps up and herds the animals when its time. Then she just collapses. It was upsetting me so much because she kept sleeping next to our caravan.

Poor girl

I would have felt the same way Sue.

My big heart just cant stand seeing animals suffer Even if she seemed happy, the tumour must take so much energy and strength from her

She has been to the vet but theres nothing they can do. The tumour has grown really fast and is enormous (like a large full cows udder). I asked the steward on the site and he said the vet said she wasnt in any pain at the moment. Its awful to see her but theres nothing I could do, I gave her water and bought her some little treats. Awful thing to say but I hope her end is soon.
