I gotta new pc built:)

I was so thrilled with my new computer that my friend built and which I thank him for I had to show it off, it is such a differance compared with my old one..My old one was getting past its sell by date and was very noisey, so my friend suggested fanless components for the new system and they are

Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R fanless motherboard with onboard HD sound.

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT SILENT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/DVI graphics card.

Geil 1GB DDR2 PC6400 800mhz memory.

Gigabyte 3d aurora 570 chassis (case) with a 120mm silent intake fan (with filter) and two silent 120mm exhaust fans.

Intel Pentium D 960 3.6GHZ dual core processor

Tagan silent 600watt power supply

Western digital 500GB sata II hard drive (plenty room for my pictures and videos of loki)

Samsung dual layer, light scribe dvd re-writer
Microsoft Vista ultimate.

I only know all this from the boxes lying around

The pictures don't do it justice, it really looks tremendous and is whisper quiet and Vista is a joy to use as well

Hi BK, I see you've got 4 sata ports, 3 are vacant,
Do yourself a favour and fit another sata drive, and use it as a backup.

Hello Nero I have an external 500gb backup drive hooked up.

There are 8 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors not 4.

OMG, yer right, have to get stronger reading glasses.
How is your external drive connected to the PC.
Is it connected by USB cable, if so, it can take longer to process data then a direct connection to the MB ports.
