I've no idea how much I spend per month and it's probably just as well I don't!

However, Roxy has won about 100kgs of James Wellbeloved food, plus loads of packets of treats as well, over the past couple of year, so that has kept them well fed for a while!

I only have one dog - Golden Retriever - and I spend between £30-£35 per month. A 15Kg bag of reasonable quality dried food lasts about 6/7 weeks and she gets home made stock or a bit of tinned with the kibble, plus tripe sticks for treats. Bonnie also has some of the same meats we eat as well as eggs and some fish and a bit of toast, which I haven't costed in.

My cats won't eat the more expensive canned food and the"higher end" dry foods make them get itchy ears and baldy bits, but I suppose I should be thankful! They like raw mince though and one likes tucking into chicken legs.

I buy dry food online, 15kg lasts about six weeks. Most treats I get from Poundstretcher - hooves, tripe sticks etc. I go in most weeks and get a few quid's worth. Tinned food, chicken wings etc from the supermarket, ditto. You can kid yourself you're spending less when it's spread out like that

I honestly wouldn't like to work it out. Two large dogs currently fed on natural instinct, chicken wings & necks, lamb breast, tripe & plenty of sea jerky treats. I keep an emergency supply of a decent complete such as fish4dogs/orijen & a few trays of naturediet.
Our previous dog was fed on chappie complete & table scraps & lived a long healthy life, cost next to nothing to feed, bless him.

In one month my two dogs go threw 28 wainwrights trays approx £17, 8 chickens = £24, half a bag ish of wainwrights dry £ 15 ish, liver, heart =£3 ish, daf minces or meat chunks or tripe= £12 ish, yogurt eggs, £3, bones = £4 ish. Tins of pilhards 8 = £8 ish, that makes about £86 ish. Gosh looking at that it sounds a lot of money. When you buy bits here and there you don't realise how much you spend.

It costs me 160 bucks a month just for the food. I don't know how much I spend on canned food, treats, raw bones, and toys.

Roughly 20 or a bit more for the cat.
