Riley Update - Not Good...

I did a thread a few weeks ago about Riley's weight loss and the various theories the vets had - EPI, diabetes and cancer were the main ones.

Well, today he had his trip to the specialist to find out for sure. He has had a whole day of unpleasant tests, from bloods and urine to chest xrays and MRIs!!! Anyway, he has leukemia Not the diagnosis I was expecting, I was sure he had epi or diabetes. They are keeping him in for a day or two for more tests to decide how to treat it, if they can at all. I dont know what the prognosis is at the moment, im avoiding googling as im sure i would find some horror stories. I'll find out more when we pick him up.

I know what you are going through. Very sorry.

So, so sorry to hear this Jessica What tragic news for you, but I hope they can help him somehow.

Really sorry to read this, and I hope that some effective treatment is available. He looks a lovely happy chap, you must be in turmoil at the moment.....but take heart and try to believe that his condition can be helped.
