Isla's Walk Around Boltby (Plus "Spot The Pheasant") *English Springer* v. pic heavy!

Took Isla out for a nice walk around Boltby today, whilst the weather was fair. It's a lovely walk that I've done before, but it's practically a constant uphill climb for nearly 1 hour and verrrrry muddy. Ho hum!

Setting out

Sooo much climbing to do!

Is I bovvered though?

Slanty horses.

Trying to work out why the horses are slanted!

Nice view.

But why are them horses slanty Mam?!

Eurgh, iccky!

And here comes the freaky part, a Fox Hound appeared as if out of knowhere!

This section of the walk is creepy enough, but these Hounds just kept appearing. First in front of us and then behind us! Very unnerving, almost like we were being stalked!

Stand off!

Posing as if nothing had happened!

Devil dog!

And another Hound! At first I thought they were part of a Fox Hunt, but I very much doubt this amount of Hounds would get lost (there must've been about half a dozen by the time we got away from the forrest). I think instead they may have been part of a Hound Trail?

Ears blowing in the breeze!

And back under control!

Another view...

The final Hound pic and such a stunner, rough coated tan point with blue ticking! Isla quite liked him/her too!

That was fun Mam!

And here's "Spot The Pheasant". I was determined to get a pic of her putting a pheasant up and I did, albeit very blurry! So, can you spot the pheasant?

Weeeee!

Another view plus Isla, a rarity!

Still in hunting mode, but at least she's not hanging over the end of a cliff!

Yet more views!

Hello!

And finally watching a Bunny makes it getaway, we're getting there!

Sorry there are so many, but thanks for sticking it out if you got this far!

Thanks dawn! Glad you can see it too (I've been trying to convince my dad for the last half an hour, I even circled it for him! ) She put one up so close to me later on that it nearly smacked me on the head as it flew up. Soooo wish I'd had the camera ready!

Is that one of the very rare tree Pheasants? The ones that look and act like a tree

Just spotted the pheasant, lovely photo's what a great walk that looks, mine would love it.

Were they trail Hounds, we met some a few weeks back, we didn't see anyone with them either, the ones we saw were near clent hills, it is abit ''nervy'' when they keep appearing isn't it
