Hello and a sad tale

Just joined this site for info etc as looking for another dog.

Had my Border put to sleep beginning of July after having her 12.5 years from a pup, adopted another Border early August and had that put to sleep earlier this month due to her having fits and seizures - not noticeable when she was vet checked.

Not having much luck really - so - do I have another Border or have another make. Decisions decisions.

Anyway, my wife and I live in Hemel Hempstead, all the usual things - married longer than a life sentence, 2 adult kids, etc etc.

Look forward to "talking" to you.

Dave

Sorry you've had such bad luck. I think that that's just what it was and wouldn't let it put me off a breed if I loved it.

Welcome along xx

Thanks for the replies guys and girls, perhaps I should have fully clarified the breed as my dogs were Border Collies, not Terriers.
Not put off having another Collie, also considering a Lab as it was the intention of having one of each but about 6 - 9 months apart, shall have to start looking all over again.

Perhaps if you started visiting you local rescue centre now, you would find your perfect match is just waiting for you in the next kennel? ..... Possibly in an unusual shape...

Hi and welcome to dogsey

Sorry to hear of your sad losses

If you love the border collie breed (and what is not to love! ) then I would say go for it and get another. Good luck in your search for a rescue or a pup.
