Why do dogs eat regurgitated food and should you let them?

1 this is how they get their first solids, canids in the wild leave the nest to go hunting, eat and then return to regurgitate food into the mouths of pups.

2 Dogs often eat very fast and then "reacquaint themselves with it" so they get the BOGOF advantage (EOGOF) rather!

3 It is fine to allow dogs to reconsume what they have brought up.
