Tassle and I have been to a couple of sessions and she is going to get some folk going on it.

It is a sort of course of obedience type exercises. You don't get told what to do you follow signs.

I think the most difficult is working out what the signs mean before you get to them.

I found it great for Celt who has quite good basic HW etc but for Etta it was too much and I was losing her HW position because of all the stopping and starting.

Its quite enjoyable as something different.

Ooh I want to do this too!
Dont you have a course to go round with numbered signs with instructions on it such as sit, wait, down etc.
Obviously getting harder depending on level.

Good luck cant wait to hear about it x

Is it only obedience? Or do you get jumps, tricks etc as well?

Jumps don't happen till the last stage, you have to do it in order.

RALLY O is brill i do this with my 7 month old collie boy and he loves it its not as intense as the obedience you see at crufts you are allowed to lure ur dog with food and talk to them you start off when you enter the ring with 200 points and you lose one point so for example a slightly crooked sit would not be be deductedfrom your score, while a significantly crooked sit would be scored one point or higher, depending on the degree of the fault. Minimum deduction in Rally is one point, and higher deductions are to be made in one-point increments.
The lead should be held so that there is no tension on the dog’s collar when in heel position. It can be held in one or both hands, and lead and hand position may change during the course. Hand and body position should be relaxed and natural.
hoping to start competing with my boy soon , but if anyone in the north west is intrested we run rally classes in blackpool
