The click is deal with the dog---always means a treat. So even if you click at the wrong time you have to treat the dog.

I wouldn't start with a recall, I'd start with something like touching your empty hand----so every time the dogs nose hits your hand the click comes and then the treat follows.

Thanks all, i've had a few goes with them just started by clicking and treating then gave some commands that they already know.
I want to eventually teach them some new tricks using the clicker as they seem to enjoy learning new things

Just been looking at some videos on youtube, does anyone know if Tab289 videos are good, seems ok to me
