Update on Jesse (GSD)

Jesse had her bloods results back last week and they were ok but the vet wanted her in today for xrays and a scan to check if or what was going on in her tummy and YAY theres no nasties in her belly but her hips are very bad (she is 12 this year). Shes had a cartrophen injection and will have one each week for the next 3 weeks to help her hips and then we will see how often she needs them after that. Bless her, she has a completely bald belly at the moment

She is fast asleep at my feet too at the moment, she obviously needs time for the anaesthetic to completely wear off - she didnt want her dinner this evening though

The vet said, considering thats all wrong with her, and the fact shes a GSD and they are prone to just about everything, she a fit old bird and will be aorund for a time to come yet I am a very happy bunny right now that it wasnt anything more sinister :smt041

Pleased to hear Jesse is not too bad Stephanie a few aches and pains are to be expected with an old lady.
I bet she will pick up a bit with the warm weather, it is kinder on tired old limbs..
