Poor Mirk, he's been through the mill by the sounds of it but at least he's going through a tough time with somebody who loves him and has his best interests at heart...Somebody who will do right by him.

I have my fingers crossed and Jed, Flynn and Jessie have their paws crossed too xx

Poor poor Mirk and poor you. I hope the treatment helps him and you get some good news soon. But he will get the best of everything, now he is home with his true mummy. If his time is short, then at least he has known what it is to be loved and cherished. Better a day of love than a lifetime of cruelty. Big hugs to you all. xx

Fingers and paws crossed here Denise. I hope the chemical castration does the trick. Whatever happens though he will have known love, good food, warmth and care.

I have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat reading this Denise. Dear old Mirk deserves more time to enjoy the good things in life. Things he has shown such massive appreciation of these past short months. I will keep everything possible crossed that he is with you for a good while to come yet.

Thinking of you all, especially Mirky boy xxx

Whatever happens - dogs live in the present. And his present is so much better than his past. He is warm, contented and loved. What more could anyone ask.

I've been reading about Mirk, and you did the best thing for that lad by bringing him home and giving him some real love and warmth in his life.

My fingers and toes are crossed he comes through this and lives for a few more years with you. If it's not to be, you have given him a few months of real pleasure and love, just remember that.
